Moser Club Lambs started in 2000 with 13 ewes that we purchased off of a local producer. By 2003, we had 80 ewes and were using primarily McIlrath genetics.
2004 was a year of change for us. We had purchased the ewe from the Hindman Bros. that dammed out Powerstroke, the buck that changed our flock. Since then, we have been using primarily Hindman influenced genetics with great success.
In 2006, Britany decided she wanted to show WBI market lambs, so she purchased 4 dorset ewes from Marla Piper. We had great success in that division that year and decided to purchase 17 Dorset and WBI ewes from Vic Brenneman in 2007.
In the fall of 2009, we exposed approximately 700 ewes of our own, using bucks with Hancock, Impact Hamps, Elliot, Ellerbrock, and Hindman backgrounds.
We lamb starting about the 20th of December through June 10th. Generally our barns open the 2nd weekend of February. Please call Tom or Alecia to make an appointment to see the lambs or for more information.
We are looking forward to a great 2009 show season. We wish our exhibitors and customers luck!
